Columbia Basin Audubon Society will be offering a Beginning Birding
Class in partnership with Kennewick Community Education. On
Friday, May 2 at 6:30 PM to 9 PM at Kamiakin High School, Library,
Connie Estep will provide information on identifying birds by sight,
sound, habitat, flight patters, and bird behavior. The class will
provide information on using bird guides and binoculars. On Saturday, May 3 at 8 AM to 11 AM, the class will join Barbara Clarke and the Bateman Island Bird Walk to observe birds in the field. The
cost of the class is $35.00 payable to Kennewick Community
Education. Registration for the class starts March 17.
