2005 Christmas Bird Count

On December 31, 2005, 50 determined folks braved the cold, fog and rain. Under Phil Bartley's leadership, they assembled at several locations (Richland's Howard Amon Park, Pasco's Chiawana Boat Ramp, Kennewick's Audubon Nature Trail) and spread out in further small groups. The temperatures never rose above 40 degrees but many species were seen - including a Barred Owl in Two Rivers County Park.
